Accounting Techician - Car Dealership

  • Processed daily paperwork for eight business entities 
  • Balanced and prepared daily deposits for all businesses
  • Processed and balanced coupons and rebates for reimbursement 

Human Resource Assistant - Metal Recycling Company

  • Processed Payroll for 100+ employees using ADP payroll software
  • Managed employee records for both existing and new employees
  • Performed interviews and all new-hire orientation, including benefit enrollment.

Title Clerk & Account Receivable - Auto Finance Company

  • Processed loan payments to customers accounts
  • Maintained and distributed automobile titles when accounts were paid in full
  • Completed title changes for customers

Human Resource Assistant - Health Insurance Company

  • Dealt with all elements of the hiring process for all new employees, including testing, insurance, 401k, PayFlex, payroll account establishment, etc.
  • Balanced companies' bank statements on monthly basis
  • Maintained deposit information in AS-400 mainframe
  • Prepared interoffice memos, and correspondence for companies' employees
  • Provided backup support for telephone switchboard

Accounting Clerk - Concrete Company

  • Responsible for data processing and balancing accounts payable, payroll, accruals and employee vacations
  • Provided additional support when needed, answering business telephone lines and routing calls via switchboard
  • Assisted with hiring of new employees, including interviewing, new hire paper work and health insurance

Sales and Service Representative -  Regional Bank

  • Provided customer service, ranging from check orders to information on optional banking services (i.e. online banking, money market accounts, Cd's)
  • Opened new checking and saving accounts for new and existing customers 
  • Assisted customers with all of their banking transactions and needs

 Float Teller - Regional Bank

  • Traveled to all Brevard County locations to cover for employees that where sick, on vacation or on leave
  • Opened new accounts for customers
  • Assisted customers with questions on all banking services
  • Provided customer support while assisting customers with all of their banking transactions

Personal

I'm a native of Cocoa/Rockledge.  I spent 4+  years in Wyoming and Nebraska while my husband served as an accountant in the USAF.

I graduated from Cocoa High School in 1992 and have completed computer training courses at Metropolitan Community College in Omaha.

I'm a mother of two boys, 9 and 13, and have been happily married for 14 years.

Being a Virtual Assistant allows me to utilize my vast office experience to help small businesses accomplish tasks in a cost effetive manner.  It also allows me to maintain a managable work/home balance.
